Loves You

The late night has seen my eyes

When cries come from the crib

In the hours of me

I find we

"Loves you mama"

"Loves you baby"

Hold her now

Before she's grown

Tomorrow we will do it all again

A little about the poem

The hours after children are in bed are precious ones to moms. As mothers we give of ourselves all day long. Those moments alone help replenish us for the next day of mothering. However, children grow incredibly fast. And so we treasure the moments with them, even when we thought those moments were going to be spent alone.
